Class Policies

To sign up for a class, please email Amanda at gaeacreations1@gmail.com, or call or text at (765) 237-9540. (If you call this number, please leave a voicemail. I won’t be answering it when it rings because I have a full time job and family and all that good stuff. I offer classes because I enjoy it, not because I want it to be my full time job. Thanks for understanding!)

Enrollment:
For all classes, a minimum enrollment of three people is required. If the minimum is not met by one week before the class, the class will be cancelled. Once that enrollment minimum is met, I will email all enrolled students and let them know they can submit payment.

Payment:
Payment can be made via PayPal or with cash. For PayPal: payment must be made by the Friday before the class meets. For classes that have multiple sessions, payment must be made in full by the Friday before the first class meets. If you are paying cash, full payment must be made at the beginning of the first class. However, if you say you are paying cash, and then do not show up for class, future registrations may not be accepted without advanced payment.

Cancellations:

  • Because I accept payment so close to the class date, refunds will not be given for cancellations.
  • No refund will be issued for sessions not attended, and no refund will be issued after classes have started. If you are unable to attend a session, you may attend a help session to catch up for an additional fee.
  • If I have to cancel for some reason, class may be rescheduled or credit for future class may be issued.

Supplies:
Materials for class (including patterns) are not provided unless specifically stated in the class description. All patterns used in my classes will be available for purchase through Ravelry. You may purchase yarn and other materials wherever you wish. I highly recommend the new yarn shop in downtown Lafayette, Knit-A-Bit, located at 668 Main Street. I also strongly believe that you should use the best materials that you can afford. You must use quality needles and yarn if you wish to improve your skill level.

Private Lessons:
I am not offering private lessons at this time.
